An Autentk KYC seal is issued to a project upon completion of our 'Know Your Customers (KYC)' verification process for the project. Our verification process is designed with the goal of de-anonymizing developers and increasing transparency in the cryptocurrency industry. Specifically, our KYC verification process consists of the following procedures:

Identity Verification

We will collect ID documents from project members and run these documents through a third-party verification platform in order to verify ID legitimacy, perform liveliness verification.

KYC Questionnaire

We will send the project a questionnaire that will collect information from internal people responsible for the project, as well as documentary evidence showing their roles in relation to the project.

Investigation and Review

We will review and review the information collected using the procedures set out above.

Recorded video call

We will hold a live and recorded meeting to verify live all identification documents provided.

The date indicated on a Badge for a project is the date we completed our KYC verification process set out above for that project. Also, our Badge is NOT a guarantee that the information a developer provides to us are true or complete, that such persons will not take malicious actions, or that we can necessarily detect fraud perpetrated with 'deep fake' or other sophisticated technologies. Instead, the Seal should be seen for what it is: it is just an indication that we use commercially reasonable efforts to complete our KYC procedures set forth above on the Seal date.
